Is modernity a test that societies must pass to prosper in the 21st century? If so, is the inability to master modernity at the heart of poverty, instability, or underdevelopment?

No, modernity is not a test —it’s an option. People or societies can choose to embrace it or not. I see modernity as an epoch in human history, a transformative period in our social and philosophical development. That’s why I explore it through the philosophical discourse of modernity.
